Since the early 19^th century, whispers have told of a secret tradition binding together explorers, thieves, aristocrats, and mercenaries. They called themselves The Society of Raiders. Born in the shadows of London, the Society arose to bring order to a frenzy of artifact hunting. Rules and customs were designed to keep rivals alive long enough to profit, and to protect their anonymity from the world.

For nearly two centuries, the Society has thrived in silence. It is an organization without ranks or councils... there are no secret masters pulling strings. Only Raiders, Collectors, and those who dare to do business with them. All governed by a code as old as the Society itself. Contracts, safe havens, and a rare currency known as Society Marks bind this underground network together.

Raiders come for different reasons. Truth, power, prestige… or simply the thrill of discovery. But all know the rules. Break them, and you risk exile. Honor them, and your legend grows.

The Society has always been there, just out of sight. And many who crossed paths with Lara Croft have ties to it, whether they admit it or not.
