Tomb Raider was the first gaming franchise to which I was ever introduced. My love for the franchise has never weakened, and my goal is to introduce it to other gamers from current and newer generations by sharing my content (videos, edits, and virtual photography) across Twitter, YouTube, and Instagram! 

My love for Tomb Raider was sparked early in my childhood by watching my mum play Tomb Raider (1996) and Tomb Raider II on our PlayStation 1. Observing her play these games was not only a cute bonding experience but also revolutionary to me, as I was introduced to a new form of entertainment. One of the funniest memories which I remember clearly of this experience is when my mum let me have a go for the first time. At just around 5 or 6 years of age, I would repeatedly play the first level of Tomb Raider II, thinking I was doing well but never managing to pass it. 

A few years later, my parents bought me a PSP, on which I played the LAU timeline games. This led me to finish my first-ever Tomb Raider game, which was Tomb Raider: Legend, followed by the rest of the trilogy, leaving my 8-year-old self feeling really fulfilled. Around that time, I also got my hands on my first-ever console, the Xbox 360 Slim. Having my own console was a huge part of my life as a gamer, as it introduced me to more gaming franchises such as Assassin's Creed and Tekken, solidifying my love for gaming! 

I was gifted the Xbox One for my 14th birthday, on which I played the Tomb Raider Survivor trilogy and experienced a younger version of Lara, seeing her evolve into the Lara I knew as a child. During the pandemic, I bought the rest of the classics which I never played on my laptop and finally managed to play all the Tomb Raider games! A few months ago, I purchased the Xbox Series X, where I could revisit my Tomb Raider LAU and Survivor era games and was finally able to play the first 3 classic games fully remastered on my current console, thanks to the freshly released Tomb Raider I-III Remastered! 

Throughout my life, gaming has been a coping mechanism for me whenever I felt lonely or angry about something specific. It allowed me to forget my problems by putting my thoughts in another fantasy world, where I could enjoy doing things that I couldn't do in real life, such as exploring lost cities and jungles in Tomb Raider, delving into past history in Assassin's Creed, and battling off my anger in Tekken and Fortnite. 

Like with most Tomb Raider fans, Lara Croft left an impact on my life, serving as a huge inspiration to me as a person. Throughout all eras, Lara is portrayed as an incredibly passionate individual who overcomes various obstacles she has to face, ranging from massive creatures like T-rexes and krakens, to normal sized ones like tigers, bears, and snakes, as well as other human adversaries, all in pursuit of her goals. Mainly Lara taught me to never give up and to be determined in reaching goals, no matter what obstacles you find in your way. Two quotes from Rise of the Tomb Raider that I constantly keep in mind to motivate myself as a person are "You don't know how far I've come" and "We become who we're meant to be”. 

In 2017, I created a YouTube channel to create Tomb Raider content among other game franchises. Later on, in 2020, I joined Twitter and this year, Instagram as well to grow as a content creator and to connect with the Tomb Raider community. On these platforms, I share my virtual photography, videos, and other content promoting the Tomb Raider franchise. 

My favorite moment in my career as a content creator was showcasing early access gameplay and updates about Tomb Raider Reloaded. A recent moment was hyping up and promoting Tomb Raider I-III Remastered. Creating content has also led me to join Tomb Raider's Official Fansite Program, which I'm truly honored to be a part of, as all the individuals who make up the program are genuinely passionate about the franchise! 

Tomb Raider I-III Remastered was a long-awaited treat for us fans. Playing them again for the first time in a fresh new look was emotional and exciting as I could re-experience them again with my mum (but now she watches me play instead). 

The addition of photo mode opened a new opportunity for me to create more content from virtual photos to creating videos showcasing the beauty of the levels which you can enjoy in my on-going 'The Beauty of Tomb Raider Remastered' playlist.

I can't wait to see what the future has in store for us in the Tomb Raider anime and upcoming game!
